Living in His Victory

John 11:25

“…I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”

With Easter at hand, I reflected on Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. During my reflection, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of hope that no matter what I am dealing with, God will always provide me a way through. In my moments of doubt, I can cling to the promise that Jesus has conquered death, and through Him, I too can overcome any struggles, never living a life of defeat.

John 11:25 reminds us of the profound truth that the victory we have through Jesus’ resurrection is not just a future hope, but a present day reality that we can experience everyday. As followers of Christ, we are called to live in His victory, embodying the triumph He has already achieved over sin, death, and every form of brokenness in our lives. This victory is evident in the way we face challenges, knowing that we are not alone but empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

When we live in His victory, we can embrace the fullness of life that Jesus offers. A life that is marked by peace, joy, and unwavering faith. When we encounter obstacles, we can shift our perspective, seeing our circumstances through the lens of Christ’s triumph. We can approach everything with confidence, knowing that the resurrection power of Jesus is at work within us.

Living in His victory is also a call to action. It compels us to share the hope we have with others and be beacons of light in a world that desperately needs it. Our lives should be testimonies of His love and grace, and through our words and deeds, we can reflect the transformative power of His resurrection to those around us.

Therefore, this Easter, let’s celebrate with hearts full of gratitude and awe for the miraculous gift of resurrection. May we continually draw strength from Jesus’ victory, allowing it to shape our lives and inspire us to live boldly for His glory each day. And above all, let us praise God for His unwavering love and the gift of eternal life that provides us a hope that never fades and a strength that we can find in His goodness each day.
